Notification of Significant Act During Caretaker Period

In accordance with section 3.73(4) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Mandurah gives local public notice of its intention to enter into (or execute) no earlier than 2 October 2025, the below contracts following tender/quote processes;

• T06-2025 – Waste Management Centre – Fire Fighting Equipment, awarded to Firesafe Construction Pty Ltd, for an estimated value of $548,000.00 exclusive (ex GST) completed upon supply of the Contract Requirements. The decision to execute this contract was made by the Chief Executive Officer on 27 August 2025 prior to the commencement of the caretaker period.
• T07-2025 – Online Learning Platform, awarded to WorldLearn Pty Ltd, for an estimated value of $684,047.65 (ex GST) over eight years, including CPI increases. The decision to execute this contract was made by the Chief Executive Officer on 4 September 2025 prior to the commencement of the caretaker period.
• RFQ13-2025 – Microsoft Licence Agreement, awarded to Datacom Systems (AU) Pty Ltd for an estimated value of $2,049,125.00 (ex GST) over three years. The decision to execute this contract was made by the Chief Executive Officer on 29 August 2025 prior to the commencement of the caretaker period.

A copy of this notice has been provided to the Departmental CEO at the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS), in accordance with Regulation 3B of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996.
